Votives: Each unique scent is created using the process mentioned above. Each Candle is packaged in a beautiful wrapping complete with an instruction card listing each blend’s aspects and purpose before being shipped to you. These candles make an exquisitely elegant gift or something wonderful you can enjoy yourself. Candles are standard size and will fit most commercial votive candle holders. Feather Palm wax is a naturally soft wax. Votives burn best when allowed to burn long enough at each use to accumulate a liquid layer all across the top of a tight fitting votive holder that is at least ¼ inch deep and all the way out to the edge. This ensures a smooth and even long lasting burn of the candle, (no “core-out” down the middle). Feather Palm wax votives work best with a longer wick, for best results do not trim the wick shorter than ½ inch above the surface of the candle. This produces a melt pool of wax that ensures optimal burn and that you will derive the most pleasure from your handcrafted votive candle.
